The study analyzed how technical university students' grades are related to their activity on the social network VKontakte. Machine learning methods were used to identify typical academic performance trajectories, showing how students' grades change over time. Based on their subscriptions, marker communities for different levels of academic performance were identified and grouped into interest groups using graph methods. Interest distributions were obtained for each trajectory, and groups with statistically significant associations with specific trajectories were identified. It was shown that digital behavior is associated with academic outcomes, which may enable more accurate predictions of academic performance based on student interests.
