ANR-lab's study on NGOs in BRICS countries

The ANR-lab team has completed study on 'Non-profit Organizations in BRICS Countries: Sector Structure and Development Characteristics.' The study was conducted at the initiative of the Expert Council on Russia's Participation in BRICS (HSE University).

By some estimates, if the NGO sector budgets of all countries were combined, it would be the world's ninth-largest economy. And yet, each country's current situation is unique, just as the sector's history is unique. The researchers collected what is likely the maximum amount of publicly available information on the 10 BRICS countries and also asked the opinions and assessments of experts from each of these countries.
