ANR-Lab became part of the Faculty of Social Sciences at HSE
In 2025, the International Laboratory for Applied Network Research became part of the Department of Sociology of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the National Research University Higher School of Economics, and in 2026, it continued work on the project 'The Diversity of Forms, Effects, and Barriers to Integration of Contemporary Russian Society in Synchronic and Diachronic Dimensions.'
Since its founding, the laboratory has operated as an independent division of HSE University, developing its own research agenda and interdisciplinary approaches to social network analysis. Joining the Department of Sociology opens new opportunities for strengthening scientific collaboration and expanding research networks within the Faculty of Social Sciences.
This new format will allow the laboratory's methodological expertise to be combined with the theoretical and empirical resources of the Department of Sociology, creating additional conditions for the development of comprehensive studies of contemporary Russian society and the training of research professionals.
