Guest Lecture on Social Network Analysis at a Brazilian University

On May 22 Irina Pavlova, Deputy Head of the International Laboratory for Applied Network Research (ANR-Lab) and Academic Director of master's programme 'Data Analytics and Social Statistics', delivered a guest lecture "Social Network Analysis: Theory, Methodology, Practical Application" for students and PhD candidates at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (Natal, Brazil).

The lecture was part of the postgraduate research seminar "Scientific Methodology in Human and Social Sciences" focused on "Psychology of and across Societies: Contemporary Research in Social Sciences."

Participants were introduced to the theoretical foundations and methodology of social network analysis, as well as the potential applications of SNA in psychology and cross-cultural research.

Guest lectures of this kind are part of the Laboratory's broader international outreach, aimed at promoting social network analysis methodology within the global academic community.
