Information waves in social networks: problematization, definition, mechanisms of distribution
Galina Gradoselskaya and Tamara Shcheglova will have a presentation “Information waves in social networks: problematization, definition, propagation mechanisms” at ANR-Lab Monday open seminar.
Information waves have recently become an increasingly sophisticated mechanism for the controlled dissemination of information, combining both technological and social resources.
Thus, it is possible to set up the scientific problem of determining the information wave as an object of study, the operationalization of this concept and the development of a methodology for studying it. Special attention is paid to the profiling of the information wave and the structure of their distribution.
The report will consider scientific approaches to the consideration of information waves, as well as applied research cases, where different manifestations of information waves were investigated.
