ANR-Lab Methodological Seminars Series: Pajek Program

Event ended

Laboratory for Applied Network Research starts a series of methodological seminars on the study of programs for analysis and visualization of network data.

The third seminar on working in Pajek program, which will be conducted by the ANR-Lab`s Senior Research Fellow Daria Maltseva, will be held on Monday, March 4. The first and second seminars were held on February, 5 and 11.

The Pajek program, developed by scientists from the University of Ljubljana Vladimir Batagelj and Andrei Mrvar since 1996, is designed for analysis and visualization of large networks (1000+ vertices). The program is fully available for non-commercial use (see the Pajek website). In 2013, Pajek was honored with an award from the International Network for Social Network Analysis (INSNA).

The seminar will consider the possibilities of the Pajek program for creating, transforming and visualizing networks, calculating the main metrics for individual nodes and networks in general, as well as integrated analysis of network data. Workshop participants will be able to apply their knowledge to analyze data collected during their research.

Please register for participation. See you at the seminar!
