ANR-Lab Seminar "The Art of Presentations in the Scientific Environment"

Event ended

On Monday, November 30, at 18:00, the scientific seminar of the International Laboratory for Applied Network Research will be held, where research assistants Aruna Radnaeva and Tamara Shcheglova will talk about the features of creating a scientific presentation.

In the research environment, research results are most often presented through PowerPoint presentations. Presentations can be a visual assistant to a speaker at a conference or an independent material available for review (for example, on a website or in a mailing list). The prepared presentation's quality determines the study's perception: a good presentation structures the material makes it understandable to the general public and removes some of the questions. A bad prepared presentation, on the contrary, confuses and raises additional questions. Aruna and Tamara will talk about the main components of the presentation, point out typical mistakes in preparing slides, and demonstrate how to adapt complex material for the uninitiated listener.

The language of the seminar is Russian. The meeting will be held online on the Zoom platform. Registered participants will receive a letter with an invitation to a video conference.

Registration for the seminar is available here.

We will be glad to see all comers!
