ANR-Lab seminar "Collaboration patterns in the Russian sociological community: the structure of scientific schools and their growth potential"

Event ended

On Monday, September 27, at 17:00, a scientific seminar of the International Laboratory for Applied Network Research will occur, where the research project "Collaboration patterns in the Russian sociological community: the structure of scientific schools and their growth potential", implemented by the laboratory staff in 2021-2023, will be presented.

The project was prepared by a research group led by the Deputy head of the laboratory Daria Maltseva and supported in the framework of the 2021 competition for grants from the Russian Science Foundation “Conducting initiative research by young scientists” of the Presidential program of research projects implemented by leading scientists, including young scientists.

The research project is aimed at solving a scientific problem related to the current lack of knowledge about how the structure of collaboration in the scientific community of Russian sociologists is organized and by which patterns (structural schemes of interaction) it is characterized. The study of structural characteristics will allow us to identify the growth potential (necessary structural changes) for domestic sociology, which can affect the change in the current situation - the internationalization of existing scientific schools and increase of their competitiveness at the international level.

The language of the seminar is English. The seminar will be held in a mixed format - in person at the address of Pokrovsky b-r, d. 11, office M409 with an online broadcast on the Zoom platform. Registered participants will receive a letter with an invitation to the video conference. For any questions, please contact the research assistant of the laboratory Aryuna Kim (aradnaeva@hse.ru, +7 (910) 416-72-82).

Registration for the seminar is available here.

We will be glad to see everyone!
