On September 30 at 17:00, ANR-Lab research fellow Emil Staszewski will present his research "Mechanisms of formation of Defence Alliances via International Military Deployments: A Case of NATO".
In his work, laboratory research fellow Emil Staszewski uses data on 192 countries for the period from 1991 to 2022 to identify combinations of factors (mechanisms) that influence the process of authorization of NATO military deployments.
A stochastic actor-oriented model (SAOM) is used to analyze the data.
