About the Center for Decision Making Analytical Support

We opened the Center for Decision Making Analytical Support because we recognize the importance of applied statistics in a world where the amount of data is growing every second. We offer services in applied data analysis and statistical consulting.

The Centre integrates knowledge of modern data science (data science) and network analysis and uses the growing capabilities of computer science (machine learning) to solve complex multi-level management problems. The complication of management processes requires managers and officials to take into account many factors, to be able to operate with big data, to make decisions in conditions of increased uncertainty. Both modern companies face such tasks, governmental authorities, and non-profit organizations.

We are a "full service" think tank:

• are based on fundamental developments in modern data analysis sciences;
• prepare analysts and train specialists;
• conduct applied research and advise businesses, government agencies, non-profit organizations, and universities on using best practices in data analysis to improve the quality of management.

We work based on the National Research University Higher School of Economics, the International Laboratory for Applied Network Reserch, and the Master's Programme "Applied Statistics with Network Analysis." We produce analysts, train specialists, and use them to conduct applied research and advise businesses, government agencies, non-profit organizations, universities on how to apply best practices in data analysis.

We use any method of different complexity levels: from descriptive statistics to neural network forecasting - to provide the performance of client application tasks. We work with such packages and databases for data analysis as R, Python, SAS, STATA, Orange, Lisrel, MPlus, Pajek, Gephi, Visone, Vertica, SQL, LaTex, etc.
