Adaptation and application of quantitative methods in the social sciences

Modern quantitative data analysis tools include a wide range of methods from mathematical statistics and beyond that to approaches to clustering, factor analysis, and other statistical machine learning techniques. Data in the social sciences are characterized by the presence of a complex structure, the presence of endogeneity and a large number of conflicting factors. In this regard, the urgent question arises of constructing an adequate research design and choosing an analysis methodology that meets the specifics of the data and the research question. This direction is devoted to the selection and adaptation of existing statistical tools for the analysis of socio-economic processes.
