ANR-Lab Open seminar "Hypotheses about team interactionin the Russian labor market: initial results of a qualitative study"

On November 24, at 15:00, ANR-Lab will hold an open seminar where Elena Stegnii will present the primary results of the first stage of the qualitative study of her dissertation on the topic "Evaluation of team interaction as a way to improve the effectiveness of team management in an organization".


The main purpose of the in-depth interview series was to operationalize key constructs and test research tools for further in-depth study of the phenomenon.
The report will present hypothesis answers based on 12 in-depth interviews with team leaders and HR specialists:

  • Why might "trust" look different in a Russian team than in management textbooks?
  • What is hidden behind "informal communications" and what real power do they have?
  • How do they evaluate the effectiveness of teams in the current realities of the labor market?
  • What technologies, tools, and practices are used in Russian companies?


Thus, within the framework of the presentation, hypotheses will be formulated for further verification on an expanded sample, as well as methodological aspects of the study, confirmed or adjusted during the field stage, will be discussed.
