ANR-Lab birthday

On April 9, the International Laboratory for Applied Network Research turns 9 years old.

Over the years, the laboratory has been greatly transformed in terms of structure, has gone through a difficult period of the pandemic, as well as a major personnel reshuffle.

Today, the laboratory team has more than 20 permanent researchers, as well as interns and research assistants. ANR-Lab employees regularly attend specialized international scientific conferences and publish articles in leading foreign and Russian scientific journals.

Since April last year, Daria Maltseva has been the head of the laboratory. Over the past year, Daria has managed to maintain and increase international cooperation in the research and educational fields, as well as contribute to the extension of the laboratory for another “cycle”.

An important structural unit of the laboratory is its master's programme ‘Applied Statistics with Network Analysis’ (MASNA), which for almost 6 years of its existence educated more than 100 students. Next year, MASNA will go completely online and open its doors to a wider audience of applicants.
