"Data Analytics and Social Statistics": Sharing Our Achievements

The Master's program in Data Analytics and Applied Statistics received high praise on two levels: it was recognized in four academic leadership categories for the year 2025, and students singled out its courses as the most useful and innovative.

This summer, laboratory team participated in several international conferences on network analysis and control theory. Polina Ermolaeva presented in person at EUSN 2026 in Sweden, Lika Kapustina and Natalia Matveeva presented their joint research online at Sunbelt and EUSN, and Ilya Petrov presented a poster presentation remotely at the IFAC World Congress in South Korea.

On August 5, as part of the VI International Scientific Conference "Interaction. Integration. Inclusion: At the Crossroads of Knowledge and Values," a section entitled "Social Inclusion, Community Boundaries, and Knowledge Circulation: The Possibilities of Network Analysis" was held, led by laboratory staff members Irina Pavlova, Natalia Matveeva, and Anton Sizov.

On May 28, a webinar "From Job Networks to Dream Jobs" was held as part of the Open Day for the online master's program "Data Analytics and Social Statistics." The event was led by Irina Pavlova, the program's academic director, and Daniil Kovalev, a research assistant at the HSE International Laboratory for Applied Network Research.
