On February 11, the awards ceremony for the 2025 Student Research Paper Competition took place. ANR-Lab research assistant Polina Ermolaeva took second place in the category "Best Research Paper in Sociology for Master's Students and Graduates of the Class of 2025."

ANR-Lab member wins special award at Innovation in Education Competition 2025
This year, Alfa-Bank established three special nominations as part of the Innovation in Education Competition and awarded teams that proposed bright, bold, and promising solutions for the future of education. Among the recipients of a 500,000 ruble grant was ANR-Lab member Alexander Zabolotsky.

ANR-Lab member wins Young Researcher Award
n 2025, the International Laboratory of Game Theory and Decision Making, together with the HSE Laboratory of Complex Networks, Hypergraphs, and Their Applications, established an award for young researchers for advances in solving theoretical and practical problems in complex networks. One of the award recipients was Ilya Petrov, a laboratory research fellow.

Congratulations to Aryuna Kim on defending her PhD dissertation in sociology!
On December 22, ANR-Lab junior research fellow Aryuna Kim defended her PhD thesis on 'Qualitative Network Analysis: Theoretical and Methodological Foundations and Analytical Potential.'

The ANR-Lab team registered the intellectual rights for the 'Program for multimodal network analysis of vacancies in the Russian labor market.'
The authors of the program are Daniil Kovalev, Irina Pavlova, and Daria Maltseva, members of the International Laboratory of Applied Network Research.

Researchers from the International Laboratory for Applied Network Research presented a case "Network Analysis for Labor Market Research: A Case Study of Data Analysis from the RosNavyk Platform." During the official part of the event, the Laboratory received a commendation for its collaboration with the Big Data Consortium and its contribution to organizing a series of seminars on the application of network analysis.

Start of an intercampus project on working with scientific literature
The team of the intercampus project “From Search to Analysis: A Complete Guide to Work with Scientific Literature” is launching a series of seminars to help the academic community of our university effectively navigate the rapidly changing world of scientific information. During October, leading experts from the Higher School of Economics will give 5 open lectures to a wide audience on the use of bibliometric and digital tools for literature search and analysis.

Supported 2 inter-campus projects involving ANR-Lab members
Two projects involving ANR-Lab team won the competition of the academic personnel reserve for the implementation of inter-campus initiatives aimed at developing the university environment – the projects “From Search to Analysis: A Complete Guide to Working with Scientific Literature” and “HSE R Meetup: Meetups in the R Programming Language”.

ANR-Lab research assistant Daria Osokina and intern Polina Ermolaeva became the winners of the competition for the best student research paper of 2024, taking 2nd and 3rd places, respectively, in the nomination 'Best research paper in sociology for master's students and graduates of 2024'.
