ANR-Lab at the Conference on Computational Social Sciences in St. Petersburg
From May 14 to 16, the first Russian conference on computational social sciences, organized by the School of Computational Social Science, was held at the European University at St. Petersburg. Six researchers from the International Laboratory for Applied Network Research presented papers.

Guest Lecture on Social Network Analysis at a Brazilian University
On May 22 Irina Pavlova, Deputy Head of the International Laboratory for Applied Network Research (ANR-Lab) and Academic Director of master's programme 'Data Analytics and Social Statistics', delivered a guest lecture "Social Network Analysis: Theory, Methodology, Practical Application" for students and PhD candidates at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (Natal, Brazil).
The Russian Public Chamber held a discussion of a study on the development of the non-profit sector in BRICS countries.
The study was prepared by the team of the Laboratory of Applied Network Research at the initiative of the BRICS Civil Society Council and with the participation of experts from various countries.

On May 13–14, 2026, the XVI International Conference on Network Analysis (NET-2026) was held in a hybrid format in Nizhny Novgorod, where ANR-Lab's researchers Irina Pavlova and Natalia Matveeva presented their studies.
