Anna Semenova at the conference 'Approximations, Graphs, Networks and Data Mining'
From October 7 to 11, Sirius hosted the conference 'Approximations, Graphs, Networks, and Intelligent Data Analysis' dedicated to the development of mathematical aspects of data mining methods related to approximation and network (graph-based) models. Our laboratory's junior research fellow Anna Semenova took part in the conference with a report 'Network Analysis of International Conflicts'.
My time at Sirius was memorable for the wonderful presentations and thoughtful discussions after each talk. The conference covered a wide range of topics covering the use of network models in approximations, data mining, and machine learning. In addition to the mandatory program, we climbed the mountains, had time to swim in the sea, and also won first place in a quiz one evening with our team 'Mat & Matika'.
