The project brings together HSE leading experts in the field of working with scientific literature and its analysis.
- The first two seminars will be conducted by the staff of the HSE Library Korzunova Maria Yuryevna and Ustyugova Ekaterina Viktorovna, who will introduce students to the possibilities of searching literature in the university's databases and digital tools for its processing.
- The third seminar will be conducted by Ilya Evgenievich Gorelsky, Director of the HSE Scientometric Center, who will talk about working with journals and literature search in conditions of external constraints.
- Daria Vasilyevna Maltseva, Head of the International Laboratory for Applied Network Analysis, will talk about some tools for working with data and share her experience in bibliometric analysis of publications.
- Fuad Tagievich Aleskerov, Director of the International Center for Analysis and Decision Selection, will finish the series of seminars. He will talk about new methods in bibliometric network analysis.
In November, the second stage of the initiative will take place, which will include a series of offline seminars for interested audiences who want to learn advanced methods of literature analysis and bibliometric analysis of individual scientific units and areas. All the proposed tools will be used on their own data, which will allow them to implement the acquired knowledge immediately after listening to the seminars.
Detailed announcements of the seminars and information about the second stage of the project will appear later. Stay in touch!
We believe that using modern tools is not just a skill, but an academic advantage. The initiative is open to everyone: students, postgraduates, teachers, researchers. We invite colleagues, partners and all interested departments to join this project, both participants and experts.
