The ANR Lab seminar 'Network Analysis for Labor Market Research' was held within the framework of the Big Data Consortium.
On September 18, the second seminar of the International Laboratory for Applied Network Analysis at the HSE University was held as part of a network project for the University Consortium of Big Data Researchers.
Our laboratory team – Daniil Kovalev, Irina Pavlova, and Daria Maltseva – told the seminar participants how multimodal network analysis can be used to identify labor market trends, create educational programs, and conduct detailed job searches. Together with Daria Dunaeva, head of the RosNavyk project, the participants also discussed the practical applicability of the obtained results to the labor market and education. A recording of the seminar can be viewed here.
Earlier, on June 10, ANR-Lab held a large workshop on network analysis. The workshop covered:
– The history of network analysis as a method
– Basic concepts of network analysis
– Software for constructing, analyzing, and visualizing networks
– Examples of real-world studies using network analysis
– Tips for applying network analysis in participant research
