Yana-Maria Priestley, the Research Assistant of International Laboratory for Applied network research, became one of the first in HSE’s Student Research Competition

As 2015 drew to a close, a panel of qualified judges was busy deciding on the results of HSE’s Student Research Competition. Out of nearly a thousand submissions in 17 different fields, a jury selected 94 prize recipients, all of which demonstrate how broad and complex the research interests of HSE’s students are.

Yana-Maria Priestley, the Research Assistant of International Laboratory for Applied Network Research, became first in Politic Science nomination for the MA and graduate students of 2015 with her research «Coevolution of Political Attitudes and Social Relationships: Case of Russian Political Science Students», which is based on the results of the bachelor thesis prepared under the supervision of scientific advisor, Head of ANR-Lab Valentina V. Kuskova.

At the end of 2015 in collaboration with Georg Beknazar Yuzbashev, the Senior Research Fellow of ANR-Lab, the preprint on the topic of the research was released, which is now available on the HSE website.
