ANR-Lab activities will continue in 2023

On November 15, a meeting of the HSE Research Expert Council was held, where the head of the laboratory, Daria Maltseva, spoke about the work of the laboratory over the past three years and the implementation of three projects:
  • Network sciences: fundamental network research and analytical decision support for government and business (2020).
  • Analysis of large temporal information and social networks: methodological developments and practical use for decision-making by the state and business (2021).
  • Applied network analysis for solving modern problems of the state, business and society: methodological developments and practical application (2022).
Based on the results of the examination of reporting materials for 2020-2022 and consideration of development plans for 2023-2025, members of the HSE Expert Council decided to extend the research activities of the laboratory in 2023.

Three-year cycle of laboratory work 2020-2022 turned out to be difficult – during this time, the laboratory, like everyone else, survived the consequences of the pandemic, as well as a large personnel reshuffle. Nevertheless, ANR-lab emerged from the crisis with important results:
  • Publication of 21 articles in leading scientific journals.
  • An employee of the ANR–Lab received the degree of Candidate of Sciences in Sociology with honors at HSE University.
  • Enrollment of seven laboratory staff members for postgraduate studies at the HSE University.
  • The receipt by Daria Maltseva of the RSF grant for young researchers – successful debut and 3 million rubles of attracted budget.
  • Successful participation of employees in the HSE Talent Pool program, employees receiving bonuses for publications and contribution to the university's reputation and awards for their contribution to the work of the International Laboratories project.
We wish the laboratory and its employees success and high results in 2023!
