Congratulations to Aryuna Kim on defending her PhD dissertation in sociology!

On December 22, ANR-Lab junior research fellow Aryuna Kim defended her PhD thesis on 'Qualitative Network Analysis: Theoretical and Methodological Foundations and Analytical Potential.'

Congratulations to Aryuna Kim on defending her PhD dissertation in sociology!

Aryuna's dissertation research focuses on defining qualitative network analysis as a methodological approach, highlighting its theoretical and methodological foundations and analytical capabilities. The status of qualitative network methodology is characterized by uncertainty, a lack of research consensus regarding its specificity as a method, and the limits of its application. This dissertation develops a methodological approach to qualitative network analysis as a strategy for studying network relations. This approach was tested in an empirical study that utilized semi-structured interview methods, as well as the construction and comparison of network maps collected through various methods.
