The ANR-Lab Senior Researcher Daria Maltseva participated in the workshop on social and semantic networks research «Network Theory and Methods: Combining Structure, Content and Meanings?», which took place on August 31 - September 1 at the VU University Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Workshop was organized by the Department of Organization Sciences and The Network Institute (VU University Amsterdam, Prof. Peter Groenewegen, Dr. Iina Hellsten and Dr. Julie Ferguson) in collaboration with the Center for German and European Studies, St Petersburg State University – Bielefeld University (Dr. Nikita Basov).

The workshop, which was held for the 4th time, brought together researchers from different countries, including Austria, England, Belgium, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Russia, USA, France, and Ecuador. Keynote speakers of the event were such renowned scientists as Professor Steve Borgatti from the University of Kentucky, USA, and Professor John Mohr from the University of California, Santa Barbara, USA.
