Our session at ARS 2017

On May 16-17 in Naples (Italy) the Sixth International Workshop on Social Network Analysis “Challenges in Social Network Research” took place, where ANR-Lab organized its session.

Our session at ARS 2017

On May 16-17 in Naples (Italy) the Sixth International Workshop on Social Network Analysis “Challenges in Social Network Research” took place, which was organized by University of Salerno, University of Naples Federico II, University of Macerata, University of Trieste, University of Ljubljana, Catholic University of Milan, Cognitive Science and Communication research Centre.

International laboratory for Applied Network Research organized its special session “Scientometrics of Russian network analysis community”, which was chaired by the head of the ANR-Lab Valentina Kuskova. During the session, the ANR-Lab members presented the following reports:

Alexandr Semenov (with Vladimir Glazachev and Dmitry Ignatov) - Applications of Tensor Decompositions for Analysis of Citations Networks
Ilia Karpov (with Innokentii Lebedev) - Modelling online social network users by attitude to key events
Alexandr Semenov (with Vladimir Glazachev and Katerina Guba) - Network analysis of the scientific field of Russian sociological journals
Daria Maltseva (with Ilia Karpov) - Networks Studies in Russia: Structure of a Scientific Community
Stanislav Moiseev (with Daria Maltseva) - Scientific community of Russian Sociologists: Network Analysis of Biographical Interviews

Besides that, Valentina Kuskova chaired a session “Social Media Analysis and Networks”, and Ilia Karpov presented the joint report with Galina Gradoselskaya “Using text clustering for social network data filtering” at the session “Classification and clustering”.
