IV International Summer School «Theory and Methods of Network Analysis» (TMSA-2015)

On August 10-14, ANR-Lab held the IV International Summer School on Network Analysis, which was devoted to the theory and methods of visualization in network analysis.

This school was designed for basic knowledge of networks and introduced students to some features of network analysis. Topics covered were designed to provide deeper understanding of network data structure and visualization, positional centrality and positional role analysis, and longitudinal networks and animation in Visone.

As with all previous schools, the main goal of the school is to help participants use the integrated systems thinking approach to create theoretically driven, methodologically sound research projects.

The school was conducted by Ulrik Brandes (Department of Computer & Information Science, University of Konstanz), ANR-Lab scientific supervisor Stanley Wasserman, laboratory head Valentina Kuskova and senior researchers Benjamin Lind and Olga Mayorova.
