Students of MASNA programme and members of ANR-Lab are the winners and laureates of the Student Research Paper Competition held by HSE University

Ekaterina Melianova, Kirill Lesnykh and Marya Vorobyova are the winners and laureates of the HSE Student Research Paper Competition. Congratulations to our students and colleagues and their scientific supervisors Irina Zangieva and Daria Maltseva on winning the competition.

The students of the master's programme “Applied Statistics with Network Analysis” Ekaterina Melianova and Kirill Lesnykh took the first and third places in the competition of research papers of master’s and graduate students of 2019 in the nomination “Best Research Work in Sociology”:

• Ekaterina Melianova (2^nd year of master's programme) performed a research on the topic “Your socioeconomic status shows if social surroundings are important for your mental health: moderated mediation with fuzzy approach to ego-network analysis” under the scientific supervision of a senior researcher, deputy head of the Laboratory Daria Maltseva.
• Kirill Lesnykh (1^st year of master's program) performed a research on the topic “Attitudes towards people with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) in different socio-demographic groups of the Russians” under the supervision of a senior researcher of the Laboratory Irina Zangieva.

Laboratory research assistant Marya Vorobyeva, along with her co-authors, became a laureate of the competition in the nomination “The best research work in sociology for undergraduate students” with a work on the topic “Meaning of Alimony in the Relationships of Fathers and Children” (supervisor - Dilyara Ibragimova).
