Daria Maltseva is the winner of the competition for grants from the Russian Science Foundation

We congratulate the Deputy Head of ANR-Lab Daria Maltseva on winning the 2021 RSF grant competition for young scientists.

Daria Maltseva is the winner of the competition for grants from the Russian Science Foundation

Daria's project "Collaboration patterns in the Russian sociological community: the structure of scientific schools and their growth potential" was supported in the 2021 competition for grants from the Russian Science Foundation "Initiative Research by Young Scientists" of the Presidential Program of Research Projects Implemented by Leading Scientists, including Young Scientists. The purpose of the competition is to support a new generation of scientific leaders – candidates and doctors of science under the age of 35.

Daria defended her Ph.D. thesis in 2015 on "The Network Approach in Sociology: Genesis of Ideas, Current State and Possibilities of Application" and has been engaged in analyzing bibliographic data in recent years (see the list of publications). The new project will be aimed at studying how the structure of collaboration is organized in the scientific community of Russian sociologists. The study will identify possible growth points for Russian sociology that may change the current situation – the internationalization of existing scientific schools and increased competitiveness at the world level.

We wish Daria every success!
