Internatilnal School organized by NRU HSE and AlmaU for students and graduates — 2019

The National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE University) and Almaty Management University (AlmaU) announce the acceptance of applications for participation in the First International Interdisciplinary School for Students and Alumni, which will be held April 22-26, 2019 in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
The school "Theory and Methods of Network Analysis" is devoted to the analysis of social networks (social network analysis, or SNA) - the currently actively developing approach to data analysis. In the introductory course at the school, you will learn about the theoretical and methodological foundations of SNA, methods of collecting, analyzing and visualizing data using various software (igraph in R, Pajek, NodeXL) and can apply this knowledge in your own research projects.

The school is organized by the staff of the International Laboratory for Applied Network Analysis of the HSE, Valentina Kuskova, Head of the Laboratory and Academic Head of the Master Program in Applied Statistics with Network Analysis Methods, Daria Maltseva, Deputy Head, Associate Professor, and Stanislav Moiseev, Research fellow and Lecturer at the Department of Sociology. The organizers will share with all participants their research experience and tell about their own educational program.
