Anja Žnidaršič's visit to ANR-Lab
Anja Žnidaršič' (PhD, University of Maribor, Slovenia) has visited ANR-Lab according to the HSE International Scholar's Visit Program.
Anja Žnidaršič - PhD, Associate Professor in the field of quantitative methods in organizational science from the same-name faculty of the University of Maribor (Slovenia), a specialist in the field of multidimensional analysis, network analysis, design and analysis of experiments, survey methodology. Anja's visit to ANR-Lab was partially supported by the HSE Visiting Scholar program of the invitation of foreign specialists as guest professors or guest researchers.
During her stay, from May 14 to June 14, Anja held a series of lectures and consultations for the staff of the International Laboratory for Applied Network Research on the subject of their research projects, as well as a series of scientific consultations for students of the Master’s program “Applied Statistics with Network Analysis” on discipline "Multivariate data analysis." Anja made presentations at the ANR-Lab series of open scientific seminars "Errors in the design of research using network analysis methods" (May 27) and "Identifying clusters in networks using block modeling" (May 28-29).
Anja took part in the 9th International Conference on Network Analysis NET 2019 (organized by Laboratory of Algorithms and Technologies for Network Analysis, NRU HSE, Laboratory of Advanced Combinatorics and Network Applications, NRU MPTI, jointly with Yandex), where she made a presentation on the topic “How to estimate missing ties due to actor non-response in networks when blockmodeling structure is analysed?”. Anja has also held a course on Bibliometric Network Analysis, jointly with Daria Maltseva (ANR-Lab), in Tomsk State University, on June, 10-11.
We thank Anja Žnidaršič for her participation in the activities of the laboratory and wish her further academic success!
