Daria Maltseva made a presentation at the “Sredin Seminar” at the Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Ljubljana

At two seminars, the main results of the project on Social network analysis field development were presented carried out by Daria together with prof. Vladimir Batagelj during her internship at the Center for Methodology and Informatics of the University of Ljubljana in September-November 2018.

Data base consists of articles from the Web of Science containing the key word “social network*”, as well as those published in the main network journals. From the collected data the citation network and two-mode networks linking articles with authors, keywords and journals were constructed.

Main results of the “static” network analysis, which uses the already proven methodology, was presented on the first seminar on November, 21. On November, 28, the temporal network analysis using the newly proposed “Temporal quantities” (Batagelj & Praprotnik, 2016) approach was presented, which was applied on large bibliographic networks for the first time.
