ANR-Lab member wins special award at Innovation in Education Competition 2025
This year, Alfa-Bank established three special nominations as part of the Innovation in Education Competition and awarded teams that proposed bright, bold, and promising solutions for the future of education. Among the recipients of a 500,000 ruble grant was ANR-Lab member Alexander Zabolotsky.

Laboratory members took part in the in-person module of the School of Applied Data Analysis at the Data Diving Academy.
Daria Maltseva and Irina Pavlova, members of the International Laboratory for Applied Network Research, served as experts in the in-person module of the All-Russian School of Applied Data Analysis, organized by the Data Diving Academy.

Networks all around us: how additional professional education course students improved their network analysis skills
Under the guidance of memners from the International Laboratory for Applied Network Research, the first graduating class of the advanced training program “Networks Around Us: How to Analyze Interaction and Influence Using Network Analysis Methods” was held.

On December 22, ANR-Lab junior research fellow Aryuna Kim defended her PhD thesis on 'Qualitative Network Analysis: Theoretical and Methodological Foundations and Analytical Potential.'

From November 26-28, the ANR-Lab hosted the Autumn School 'From Data to Graphs: A Workshop on Bibliometric Network Analysis.'

Anton Sizov spoke at the Faculty of Social Sciences scientific seminar
On November 27, the HSE Moscow campus hosted the Faculty of Social Science research seminar 'Between Scylla and Charybdis: What Determines Russians' Attitudes Toward Personal Data Collection?' The seminar presented the research findings of the initial project group 'Trust and Attitudes toward Government Electronic Services and Data Collection Technologies.' ANR-Lab research assistant Anton Sizov actively participated in the group's research and presentation.

ANR-Lab team members spoke at the Continuing Education Forum 'People and Competencies of the New Age'
ANR-Lab researchers Daniil Kovalev and Daria Maltseva presented a paper at the expert session 'Continuing Professional Education Trendwatchers' as part of the continuing professional education forum 'People and Competencies in the New Era.' The event took place on November 20–21, 2025, at the National Research University Higher School of Economics.
Science and Business: Integration Recipes. How to Build Mutually Beneficial Collaboration
The Science Day "Organization & People" was recently held on the SberUniversity campus, providing a platform for dialogue between researchers from leading universities and business representatives. Daria Maltseva, Head of the International Laboratory for Applied Network Research at HSE University, and Anna Kartasheva, a research fellow at the laboratory, presented a paper on network analytics for identifying trends and managing teams. For World Science Day, November 10, in IQ Media column, Anna Kartasheva explored how scientific research provides new methods for analyzing team behavior and identifying hidden patterns, which can be valuable for businesses in decision-making and talent management.
